Review on 🔍 Winco MS3A-8D Double Fine Mesh Strainer: 8-Inch Diameter, Medium, Stainless Steel, Tan by Lisa Price

This is a superb strainer. Good volume, not too deep, but not too flat. I've been looking for a replacement strainer for a very long time - my grandmother finally gave up her breath (30 years since her death, and the strainer was old then). I don't know if it's from the same manufacturer, but everything about this saddle is identical to theirs. I estimate that the original lasted about 60 years. If I can get 1/3 of that performance from this filter, I'll get more than good performance from it. lol The construction is solid, it fills all the way and the bowl or pot is stress free to handle. I've already used it lined with light cloth to strain a small amount of broth - it held bone and flavors with no problem. This strainer has a double sieve, which also makes it very convenient to strain the pulp to make jelly. The product description says "good quality product". This is no idle boast. Most critics of this topic seem to expect Chinese tea. It's not a chinua, it's a sieve. [Note: If you are worried about rusting, do not wash it in the dishwasher or soak it in a pot of soapy water - the problem is not with the product but with the user. Take good care of your tools and they will outlive you - check out grandma's colander for example. ;)]
