This device does a great job of capturing 8 cameras at this price point. Very easy to use even without instructions. I put 500GB in my drive and it writes continuously. It works great in this mode. I used it for half a year, but then I wanted to make some changes to the setting. I found out that I lost the password I set for the system. I contacted Zosi technical support and a technician named Hedy explained how to get back into the system and also how to update the firmware in the dash cam. The upgrade was perfect (and easy) and I was also able to reset my password. So for the price I'm happy. By the way, I used to be a technical manager at a surveillance company that developed multiplexers/DVRs like this, so I know that nowadays it's an amazing price to offer this kind of performance.
