Hello everyone, dear readers! The best thing that could have happened in my life was the release of The Witcher 3 on Nintendo. My first question was, how did they even do that? After the game went on sale, the first thing I did was buy the electronic version without a discount for $50. I agree in advance that it's expensive, but that's the pricing policy for Nintendo games. It is also important to note that the game is not exclusive to any of the platforms, it is on the PC, Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo.
First of all, after purchase, I was unpleasantly surprised, the Nintendo Switch has only 32 GB of internal memory, with about 6.2 GB reserved for system needs, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt weighs about 32 GB, which kind of hints us to run to the store and buy a MicroSD. I'm not paranoid, but I'm more than sure this was done on purpose. Then I try to play on the console without connecting to the TV and I'm shocked, the console is not warm, everything loads quickly and the picture quality is close to average (but we love the Witcher not for that, right?). I played without stopping for 5 hours and I had no problems, my experience was extremely happy. The next day, I decided to let myself take the game out to the TV and play it. Honestly, it was horrible, by all possible standards, the duration of the platform response and the quality of the picture, made me shake with horror, I was literally sick, and my eyes hurt as if I was looking at a welding works. Now I understand that they squeezed their maximum out of optimization, such a technically obsolete console like Nintendo is not capable of much more. To all readers who want to buy this game, I strongly recommend it anyway, it will be your best companion in any trip, on the subway, on the plane or on the train. Sometimes it's just impossible to tear yourself away. Also to everyone who bought it, I advised and will continue to advise to play only on the gamepad with a 6.2 inch (15.7 cm) screen resolution, and not on the version in the console (the TV screen), otherwise your experience can be very seriously spoiled. I also want to remind you that the key aspect of the game is the storytelling, interesting dialogues and unpredictable turns of events, which sort of hints that if you are chasing fast performance and high picture quality, you clearly should not play The Witcher, and even on a console like Nintendo Switch.
In conclusion, I want to say thank you to everyone who read me!
