As you probably already know, the official Raspberry Pi 4 case sucks when it comes to thermal management. With the top on, I'm pretty sure my system has shut down due to thermal overload. I removed the cap, which helped a bit, but here are the stats: Official Pi 4 case (top cap removed): 57β idle, 79β under load (could be higher, but I stopped that since 80 is a danger zone) In this case: 32β idle, 45β under load. It sits under a piece of furniture with 6 inches of space around the unit but seemingly no airflow. This is a VERY impressive temperature drop. first class and clearly and precisely processed.
