The brush hairs support the entire weight of the vacuum cleaner and the pressure you exert when using it, so this item may not be durable. You might think there will be wheels, but; NO. I give it 2-3 years before I have to throw it out and get a new one. Another problem: the tooth-like pattern (as shown in the picture) of the brushes (again, they're just bristles) WILL definitely repel anything the size of a grain of rice until they get caught in the crevices and sucked off. So the design isn't great compared to the basic Dyson headgear, which works on both carpet and hard floors (the bristles have a screw-like pattern that sweeps everything away, and wheels as a prop). What normally takes 2 swipes to clean now takes around 4-6 swipes depending on if you have hard objects other than dust/hair.
