I hated our DC39 Dyson Ball Multi Floor because it only came with a trigger head floor tool which IMO is TERRIBLE on hardwood floors, leaves marks and doesn't work well on carpets, the bristles are always clogged with hair. So does the job the Dyson was supposed to do with the V8 Animal and is vacuum powered. IMPORTANT - it will not fit and will not work without an adapter which must be purchased separately! Looks great and goes with my DC44 Animal. It also comes with an adapter converter for other models. The way it panned was perfect and it was easy to move across my tile floors. I figured that because it's larger than the original rotating brush head that came with my Dyson, it would sweep a larger area and therefore work faster. The brush hairs support the entire weight of the vacuum cleaner and the pressure you exert when using it, so this item may not be durable. You might think there will be wheels, but; NO. I give it 2-3 years before I have to throw it out and get a new one. I bought the Dyson Hinged Floor Nozzle from Revain and am completely satisfied. I bought this to use with my new Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Canister Animal (what a mouthful!).
