I'm 34 years old and had this phone when I was little. We had WiFi back then, but with the small house I live in and the very little time I spend on the phone, this model just makes sense. It's so cool that electronics are still made in the United States, and in fact every country other than China. Not only that, it's a very well made phone. It's made of solid plastic and basic functions, just phone volume, ringer volume and of course number keys. The cord from the tube is quite short, I'll buy a long one so I can walk around a bit. Landline phones no longer need fancy bells and whistles, save them for your smartphone. Don't worry about losing or charging your wireless connection and poor reception. If your landline is only used for "emergencies" (or in case I lose my cell phone), this model is for you. Thank you for making this phone.
