Not durable and solid at all. I was hoping for a little more weight than the cell phones of the past. The sound quality crackles and wheezes. The cord slides into the phone and you have to dig it out to plug it into the wall. We have had this phone for about a year. It works. This looks exactly how I had hoped. I like feeling it in my hand and up to my ear. People know me well here. However, every now and then when we try to adjust the volume on the phone, there comes a point where you can't hear the person at all and you have to turn the volume wheel until you can hear again. I'm 34 years old and had this phone when I was little. We had WiFi back then, but with the small house I live in and the very little time I spend on the phone, this model just makes sense. It's so cool that electronics are still made in the United States, and in fact every country other than China. Not only that, it's a very well made phone. The other thing that sets this phone apart from the cheaper (made in China) model you'll see at other Revain stores is that it has both a ringer volume control and a handset volume control.
