It's nice that it's always in the box. It is theoretically possible to remove the compressor from it, but it is not clear why. And the plastic cover on top, which many complain that it is not metal, like the main body, is just the same very good solution. Because you can put it on the car without fear of scratches, and you won’t scratch your hands yourself, if anything, and in winter it’s not so cold to mess around with it. In general, some pluses :)
