This is a second bubbler for my finicky male cat that won't drink water. I have 2 cats and the younger one took to a bubbler right away. The first bubbler is a bit noisy with a humming noise, so I put that in the living room. This one is super quiet.no humming noise. It has a soft water sound that attracts the problem child and now he uses it to drink water. I have it in the bedroom and it it perfect. It is easy to clean and no problem with assembly. I change the water twice a week, even though they do not recommend that. I tasted the water before giving it to the cats to make sure it had no off taste and it does not. I highly recommend it if you have a cat that doesn't like to drink water.
