Works to plug a cracked fresh water tank in an RV.
So, my toy trailer (RV) has a fresh water drain pipe burst where the pipe connects to the tank. The tank is 1/8" thick and has a 1.83" stamped hole. , 1.5β³ below and 2β³ above, it fits into the hole (when sanding flush), and when tightened, it expands and seals the detergent reservoir on both sides. a piece of plastic that acts as an expansion plug, otherwise it will become clogged and very difficult to remove. It seals tight, perfect for a job it wasn't designed for and if I was using it for what it was designed for (tube wall with a 2" sealing surface instead of just a 1/8" tank). It's easy to remove. But I use it wrong and it still works.
