Review on 🐾 Carlson Extra Tall Metal Expandable Pet Gate in White, Adjustable 32-38 inches by Kate Love

This goal is fantastic for the price! I have a 6 month old 40 lb labrador puppy and a 16 year old geriatric cat. Litter boxes and food bowls are a big problem because my older cat can't jump high, so anything a cat can reach a puppy can reach. My puppy is gaining weight from constantly eating cat food and my cat is losing weight because his dog is constantly eating his food. It was a huge fight. This gate is the solution I was looking for! A few notes: the cat flap is pretty darn small. A small to medium sized dog that is VERY determined CAN go through this. But in general, if your dog is medium-sized and over 30 pounds, you're unlikely to have a problem. There's no chance my lab pup will fit through that cat's hole. It's metal and fairly strong, but the bars are hollow and poorly welded to the frame. I would not recommend this gate for young children as the gate can easily detach from the frame if there is enough tension. They are also very easy to install, but you must read the instructions. There is a metal pin that fits into the holes on the expansion rod and you have to lift the plastic piece with the pin to get the adjuster down the rod. Then twist the plastic part until the gate is tight. Very easy. as long as you know how to move this pin and move the button. This is clearly shown in the accompanying instructions. All in all a great purchase and highly recommended!
