Great product as you would expect from Smith. Pleasantly smooth valve rotation for precise control. An absolute pleasure. I also bought a rosebud tip, I could easily melt 3oz sterling silver. The smallest tip offers excellent control when soldering small gauge wires. Everything is as good as the day I bought it. The seller was great and they arrived quickly. (Below is experience with another flashlight from another seller). I bought this after ordering another string of lights which turned out to be fake. The box looked just like the lantern. The price was much lower which attracted me. Even though they looked the same, the fake burners were awful. The entire valve adjustment was done in less than a quarter turn. It was impossible to get precise control with every tip size. Constantly losing flame every time the slightest adjustment was needed. The hoses were stiff and poorly finished, and the torch body was rough and poorly finished. The torch tips leaked and were difficult to seal without excessive torque from the wrench, and the dimensions were out of specification. Those were just big questions and I could move on. Save money and buy genuine Smith torches that will last a lifetime. DO NOT LOOK AT OTHER ADS THAT ARE SELLING COUNTERFEIT MUCH BELOW THE MARKET PRICE. THEY ARE POORLY MADE AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS. The only thing that bothered me was the wrong flashlight.
