Review on ARRR Breathable Evaporative Microfiber Protection by Katie Bowers

My very dark chocolate rescuer Frenchie has had heat stroke 2 times in the 6 months we have had her (terrifying experience). We live in Florida so this is not the best place for stroke prone dogs. We have to limit walks because she overheats so easily. When this cooling jacket showed up in my Vine listings, I decided to order it. I was very skeptical that a thin layer of fabric would do her any good. I took our handy prospect thermometer and let them brown for about 5 minutes. When I saw "HI" as a reading and not a number, I was shocked! I know this means that the temperature of her fur in the sun was over 110 degrees (the hottest temperature my thermometer reads). I put a wet jacket on her, left it in the sun for a few more minutes and checked again, and the temperature of the jacket was 94.5 degrees! You can see the temperature change video between her open back and the jacket. It's really adorable! We're excited to let her play outside with her lifeguard sisters in her trendy new cooler shirt. We ordered XXL. Your normal size in most other dog costumes is medium. The belly band fits but the neck is too tight (I need to add velcro to lengthen it, not too hard). She's a bulldog and her neck is bigger than the size chart says so I wasn't surprised. The color celadon is very pretty and looks great with her chocolate colored coat. The current price is $19.99 which seems like a good price for the product.
