What others are saying really leaves a gap. For me it was just a choice between a gap at the top and two lugs that don't snap into the dash at the bottom (I went with the gap at the bottom). I wish I had taken photos when I installed it, but my focus was on the stereo and steering wheel control adapter. It consists of several parts: the main front panel, left and right side panels (brackets), a bag, a radio trim ring and a screw pack. The product photo shows the main front panel and left/right side panels. The side panels hook onto the inside edge of the main front panel and are held in place, when the pocket is pushed inwards. Screw the side panels to the bag to secure it in place with the screws provided. Adjust the stereo (with some adjustable depth) and screw it down with stereo mounting screws (NOT INCLUDED). The main faceplate has alignment tabs at the top and two large raised tabs at the bottom. I had to hook it on top and then pull down to allow the bottom ones to line up and hook. Let's hope the plastic warps a bit this summer, as it wasn't very forgiving when it was installed in the northern hemisphere during the second week of January. I recommend fully inserting the four screws and then pressing the entire unit (or side panels) down and tightening. on the radio are loose or if the stereo system mounting screws are loose.
