Overall I am very happy with this unit (warm white version). I had to modify my old steel mounting plate to make this swap work, but it was worth it. If your ceiling tile has mounting clips for old fluorescent lights, you will need to remove these to allow the new assembly to be mounted level with the magnets provided. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel - it took about 2 minutes. Or you can drill out the clamp rivets. Attaching the new knot was fairly easy. It simply snaps onto the magnetic stands. The new power supply's mounting holes didn't match the pattern on my old board, so I pre-drilled 1/16" pilot holes and secured them with two #6 x 1/2" sheet metal screws. However, do not use the supplied spring-loaded cable connector. 120 volt cords easily slip out - unsafe! Use the good old screw nuts. The connector supplied does not comply with the wiring regulations and is a fire hazard. So I'm very happy with the brightness and beautiful light color of our new laundry light compared to the old cool white fluorescent lights we had. You know, maybe our laundry is even more fun.
