This little stove uses very little butane. It is very light and fits in a very small space. It's very easy to turn it on. You can easily adjust the temperature. I can cook most food on this stove in an 11" pan. I like using Blue Diamond or Green Pan pans because the food slides right out and you can wipe it out in seconds. Wind is the only problem I have. even in my SUV with the sunroof open. It takes longer when it's windy. I put something in front of the flame that helps. In fact, that's not the fault of the stove, there's little you can do about the weather. !
