I wouldn't buy this tablet if you plan on using it every day. Why? The performance is bad. While you can tolerate it new, the cheap memory in this thing degrades over time and slows down the tablet over time. Swipe, surfing and videos become choppy. On top of that, the game's performance is just terrible. I couldn't even play games designed for phones without the very low frame rates I was expecting from my 3 year old super cheap Colby Crios. The glossy screen and back don't help outdoors either, you won't be using this device outdoors at all. The last point needs to be emphasized, it is manufactured and serviced by Asus. What does that mean? That means you get terrible customer service. Asus is truly a brand for people who love torturing themselves, from their return policies and customer service to cutting corners on everything they make. I haven't had good experiences with them yet. Now that the bad is over, let's talk about the good. The screen is quite nice. Although the exterior isn't very pretty, the colors are vibrant and well presented. They clearly benefit here from their PC display experience. The modified operating system that comes with the device is good, but ASUS has not updated the MeMo Pad less than a year after its release. In other words, it has additional features in the older OS that have been implemented in newer versions of Android (kind of a neutral point). The SD card slot is great, I don't know why most tablets have one. Finally, 2 cameras are a nice addition to a budget device, and they're worth it. I would say I wish they had dropped them in favor of performance. In general, I would rate this device as follows: Performance - Poor screen - Good design - Fair Battery - Fair
