Review on Woodstock D2903 Buffing Compound - 1lb by Donnie Boss

I don't understand why some reviewers are surprised by the size of this thing: a pound is a pound. I believe it was partially bonded with a heat shrink plastic sleeve to keep drying out to a minimum. Mine hit the perfect spot, like the wax crayon used by children. There are no instructions built in but anyone who dares to purchase this quantity of this product is expected to know how to use it. If this isn't the case for you, you can search the web for ways to use it effectively (I've done this and found that my actual practice isn't the same as that of the "best"). Although listed for use with stainless steel, it works great with my woodworking tools. Just be aware that the TSA guys will think it's part of a plastic explosive.
