One of our best baby safety devices! We have purchased several other brands/types of finger traps but these are durable and hold their shape best. It can be placed at either end of the door where the hinges or doorknob are located, and can be hung on the doorknob when not in use. What we like best is that it holds its shape well. Other finger traps we find after a few uses that we can no longer hang them on the doorknob as the material has stretched and when we try to hang them on the doorknob they just fall off - not this one! We have 2-3 year olds who love slamming the door on each other to keep the other out of the room so saved their lives. We've gotten so addicted to this little gadget that we always take it with us on vacation in case someone accidentally slams the door and loses a finger.
