I'm giving these cables four stars instead of five just because the entire Lightning cable protocol has inherent flaws. If you've owned and used Apple products that charge via a lighting cord, you probably already know what I mean - that they ALL wear out over time and use due to abrasion at the fourth electrode from the left. Even the expensive versions of this cable from Apple don't seem to last more than a year or two before the rating gets so bad that it becomes impossible to connect to the device. This essentially makes all Lightning cables consumable, single-use, limited-use items. So with that in mind, these cables are an incredible buy at the list price, which is around $2.40 each (price at the time of this writing - always subject to change, of course). They're well made, durable, and cost a fraction of the price of a genuine Apple product (currently around $18 each). Now that the five are gone, I'm buying another set. Very happy with the performance given the inherent issues with the Lightning Cable protocol and bearing that limitation in mind I highly recommend this product.
