I took a chance and bought four of these as part of the NVMe cache tier for my budget Storage Spaces Direct Build (four LFF Dell C2100/FS12-TY) . They work exactly as expected and work great with S2D. Ready to run on Windows Server 2016. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because of a design bottleneck. The card only has one PCIe x4 interface that can be shared between the two x4 NVMe cards installed on it, which causes problems when trying to use both cards at full speed at the same time. I was fully aware of this limitation at the time of purchase and accepted it, but for some it can be a hindrance. Overall I would buy it again as it's a fantastic way to add dense NVMe storage to a system with no M.2 and limited PCIe slots.
