Run. Walk in the other direction. My charger died in less than 1 year. This company is not responsible for their warranty at all. I've already called three times with a warranty case - and I can't solve this problem anywhere. My charger shows the same error code on two different vehicles. Both are going well. They sent me on a data lookup to prove it was bad and then when I call back with more data the person on the line doesn't know the path the other person sent me. If that path turns out to be bad or not (to their satisfaction), why doesn't the next person in the warranty line even recognize those trouble codes that are in their manual? She puts me on hold a few times and then hangs up because her day is over. Item broke in less than a year. Supposedly has a three-year guarantee - but they hide behind their telephone bank. By the way, I'm an electrical engineer with 35 years of experience with cars and boats. I bought this because I believed in the Optima brand - my mistake. The irony is that the battery I'm charging is also from an Optima that's only 1 year old. Pooh. DO NOT BUY
