Review on Leviton 1689 Multi-Position Switch - 50 Position, 3A at 250V, 6A at 125V by Mike Johnston

Okay this is probably a great product for what it is intended for but I felt the product was advertised a bit misleadingly. I was looking for a switch to replace a 4 pole switch that had once failed in my ceiling fan. These damn things don't have pigtails, and it's almost impossible to fit standard wires into them. So it looked like a good solution. It wasn't and doesn't work for this application. So note that this device will NOT work in probably 75% or more of ceiling fan applications. This may work well for others.
