After trying to get opinions on a USB speaker for my computer to no avail, I decided to rummage through many different options. While many USB speakers were actually only USB powered and still required a 3.5mm jack, I was able to find a few that were only USB. finally decided to give it a try. The bass isn't "lacking" as some have suggested, and although the volume control is in the reverse direction (counter-clockwise anti-clockwise), I can't fault it. It's easy to remember. The only bug I had was that sometimes when I turn on the computer I have to wiggle the USB connector to get Windows to switch from my monitor to that speaker.
