These little relays are fast, reliable, and nearly bulletproof! It's handy to have two sets of two relays, both of which are DPDT and can switch positive or negative! I used one to reverse polarity to a 12v servo to open the hen house door and the other to choose whether to energize the first relay or the DPDT switch to manually control the door. I also had to use a diode to prevent the manual switch from sending current back through the normally closed contact of the first relay. Since the polarity was reversed, one of the positions could create a short. The diode has served its purpose. However, when I found this out, I shorted them out (by trial and error) but they weren't damaged. They are very rigidly built. I am impressed!
