So I finally replaced my 20 year old fan with this one. It still worked, but I felt like it wasn't even close to its peak. Also, I'm tired of cleaning it. I think 20 years is the time to retire the old girl. It was important to find an accurate model so that the transplant would go smoothly without having to make any changes to the vent. I made the mistake of buying one with slightly different sizes before having to send it back. I changed it myself and the price was right. It's getting harder and harder to find these older models. Everything fit perfectly! I would say it performs between 35-70% better than my old fan. Often I didn't have to keep the fan running for 10-15 minutes after using a glass or taking a hot shower like I had previously. I highly recommend it if it suits your bathroom.
