This review is for Globe Scribe shoes. I've been buying Globe shoes for a long time. My favorites are Sabers and Fusion. I usually switch between them every time a new color is released. Even if they are a bit more expensive. They differ slightly in several respects. They don't have the same "built in toe" as the Fusion and Sabre. Instead, they include tongue straps. Which is fine with me, just wanted to clarify that the main reviewer called them "ankle huggers," which they aren't. I bought a pair in red/grey/black. The shoes are beautiful, especially in the photo. What you don't see until you put them on is the close view of them when you look down at them when you wear them. I don't mind, but I prefer the sleazy look of the Saber and Fusion. These shoes are well built and have the same bottom profile as more expensive models. One of the main reasons I chose these shoes was the price. Sabers and Fusions average between $70 and $110 depending on where and when you get them. I took them for about half. Saved so much that I bought my girlfriend a pair of Globe shoes. If I had known they were blue and black when I received them I probably would have bought them instead. In my opinion they are the prettiest there is. Compared to Saber and Fusions, they are slightly larger. Not much and probably more noticeable as they don't include a "built-in sock". They feel a little loose when walking, mostly because I'm used to "ankle hugs" I guess. If you're a Globe fan, you'll probably love these shoes too. Even if you're new to Globe shoes, this is one of the most affordable pairs they offer and you can't go wrong with them. Well I hope this review has helped clarify or answer some of the questions that those considering buying it might have. If you found this review helpful, please click this option below.
