I settled on this option after reading lots of reviews. This one went on easily and I am thrilled it did not rip or give me a hard time. Before placing on the wall side, I did stretch out the hose material to make it easy to put on the wall receptacle. I have a tight squeeze and this did the job. I am also thrilled that it is clean inside. Over time the inside gets caked on, and even after vacuuming it still has tons of lent trapped. It was past time for me to replace. I don't know why I waited so long to do this common sense maintenance. I had hoped for quicker drying time as a result, but I think my dryer just sucks and has from the start. The new hose was an attempt to improve the long dry time annoyance. At least the fire hazard is gone.
