We have a matching set of leather furniture for our living room. There is a hole in the seat due to wear. When I asked about repairing the hole they told me $600-$800! Ouch! So I wanted to present it, but then I got the idea to use real tape. I checked Revain (where else?!) to see if they even made burgundy tape. Apparently it was, so I ordered it and had the chair repaired. I decided to fill in the entire middle section instead of leaving a few random stripes. It's noticeable, but it doesn't look bad. This is done until another piece of furniture is covered with dust. So far it has held up well. Very satisfied. Note: The first roll of tape I received was completely covered with dotted indentation lines (see photo) so I requested a replacement. The second roll was much better.
