Review on Small Red Kamenstein Food Storage Canister with Card Holder by Stephanie Graves

Fiery Red Canister. As someone who owns several kitchen appliances in this color - my kitchen sink used to be red - I noticed this immediately. After reading the description, my heart beat faster: I found the perfect coffee bean container. Imagine my sad surprise when I opened the package and found a much smaller container than I expected. Although the label says it's 4.4 inches in diameter and 7 inches high, my tape measure says otherwise. It's not quite 4 inches in diameter and about 4.75 inches tall. This is without the lid, which adds another inch to the height, but obviously the canister can't hold 6 inches of coffee beans. Conversely, the claimed capacity is 32 fl oz; I was able to fill it with about 40 ounces of water. that I use a canister for liquids. So the little red canister may be charming, but it's also basically useless. I suppose he could try loose tea, but I don't buy loose tea and it's too small for me. I'll probably take him to the office and fill him up with pencils or lip gloss as he would be a cute decoration on my desk. Otherwise, it makes a solid and well-made impression. I would rather buy a small than a medium.
