I was hesitant to write a review right away As this item has been refurbished I wanted to wait a while. I LOVE this juicer! I can't believe I waited this long to switch from a centrifuge to a slow juicer. I'm spending more than before because this juicer squeezes a lot more juice out of vegetables. My favorite foods are: lots of veggies (kale, chard, kale, parsley, spinach), carrots, celery, beets, kale, broccoli, turmeric, ginger, and apples. I add other random things from time to time but the last ones are my main push ups. :). Sometimes a carrot stops, but I just hit the reverse button and everything works fine. I only juice once a day, but I make quite a hard juice doing it, so I feel my rating has been validated by my use. I can't say I was upset about contacting the seller about the lack of a cleaning brush, but I received the brush and am writing a review about the product, not the seller. I would only give the seller one star or less if I could, but they keep deleting my negative feedback. OMEGA WILL NOT VOID THE WARRANTY ON THIS UNIT IF YOU PURCHASE IT WITH THE KITCHEN DISCOUNT AS YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED A FRAUDULENT SELLER. There is no serial number on their juicers. The small piece of plastic that fits into the spout broke off and the seller refuses to replace it. UPDATE: 13 months after purchase: I am having engine problems. Unfortunately I had no luck with the "two year" warranty which I was told I would have on the juicer as Omega would not honor it as it was purchased refurbished and has no serial number. I love the juicer so much that when it finally "goes away," I'll buy a new one, just not a refurbished one. Just thought I would add an update. I still love juices and love the juicer in general. If I had bought it new it would still be under warranty.
