I usually use another brand that rolls up and closes with velcro but I have a larger phone that no longer fits. I was skeptical about the clasp style but it makes it waterproof. I've tested it in my bathtub and at the local pool. I was able to fit my Samsung S9+ with case into this case. With my case, my phone is about 6.6 inches tall and 7 inches diagonal, also with the case. I was concerned that the colored section of the case would cover my front camera, but my phone's entire screen fits in the transparent section of this case. So I can easily take pictures with the front and rear camera. I recommend turning on recording with the volume buttons and double-clicking the power button to launch the camera app. Tip for those who complained that the touch screen does not work in this case: change the screen sensitivity in the settings. I put a screen protector on my phone and couldn't get it to work until I changed this setting. I have no problem using this with a screen protector which means I only have 2 layers on my screen in this case. Can't comment on durability as it doesn't seem to be as durable as my others. the brand I usually use, but I've slipped my phone in and out a few times with no problems. I simply lift the plastic from the screen and then pinch the sides to create a wider opening before removing the phone. My phone slides like clockwork when I squeeze the sides to open it wider (see my photo attached to this review). but even if I only use it for a year, it's worth the money. This is one of the few brands I could find that says it will fit a 7 inch phone. It's so cheap that I could buy it again if needed. And I love that it comes with two cases. I gave the second one to my husband. But you can keep the second one for yourself as a backup.
