Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler: Enhancing Performance and Cooling Efficiency by Joe Patterson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Installation isn't as difficult as people say BUT worry about software bugs/customer support

The heatsink has the fewest fin defects of any 4 AIO coolers I've had. I haven't had any problems preparing for the installation. Drink milk, stay away from soy, and you should be able to easily install fans on your radiator. I will update this review as the install progresses and how it cools my 5800X once it arrives. I can't control anything connected to the command core even using a USB hub as a buffer between it and the motherboard. Every time iCue starts, the Commander core disconnects from my ASUS x570 motherboard. If I disable iCue from starting on startup, it won't shut down until I run the program. I've used several versions of the software before and still have no luck. 60-80C on these new processors. I don't have any performance issues, but I could probably get cooler temperatures if I could control the fans with the stupid iCue software. 1/31/21: The cooler was returned to Revain. Literally no fixes, incompetent Corsair support. I have an Arctic Freezer II and it's amazing. It's quieter, it's cooler, it looks amazing, it's original, it's innovative, I love it. Corsair is dead to me, good luck on the IPO. If you have Ryzen for Arctic, don't even bother with Asetek's design.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Almost never
