Description of 🌬️ Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler: Enhancing Performance and Cooling Efficiency

A high-performance RGB pump head provides powerful, low-noise cooling for your CPU, lit by 33 ultra-bright CAPELLIX RGB LEDs. Includes a Corsair iCUE commander core smart RGB Lighting and Fan speed controller, for precise speed and lighting control over up to six RGB Fans. Three 120mm Corsair ML RGB Magnetic Levitation PWM fans deliver powerful airflow for extreme CPU cooling performance, with eight RGB LEDs per fan. Accurately control your cooling via PWM, adjusting fan speeds from 400 to 2,400 RPM. Zero RPM fan profiles in Corsair iCUE software allow fans to stop entirely at low temperatures, eliminating fan noise. Compatible Sockets: Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, 2066 and AMD AM2, AM3, AM4, FM1, FM2, sTR4, sTRX4.

Poor design quality, unable to install without damage.

Total junk but the product looks good. It's badly built. You misaligned the fan holes with the heatsink holes so the screws lined up. You'll need to partially screw in one end, then pull the fan the other way while firmly pressing down on the screwdriver to screw it in. I have provided a picture to show how the screw is bent just to make it work. For $170 you think they would have developed a more suitable product. I expected this from a third party, not Corsair. Very disappointed. Back…

HORRIBLE MOUNTING AM4 to fans and cooling system

The AM4 mounting method uses thumbscrews that screw into hooks that attach to your motherboard's AM4 bracket. The problem is that when tightening the thumbscrews, even if I eventually remove the bracket from my pump unit, the hooks they attach to start spinning wildly and NOT properly aligned with the bracket attachment point. cooler to become CURVE and UNEVEN. As you can see from the picture, the hook on the bracket has an uneven design which not only leads to over tightening (note the metal…

Runs much cooler than the air cooler I use

Pros: Amazing thermal performance of the Noctua 15 air cooler and the upper temperature limit is lower than air. The air warmed up to 82 degrees Celsius, while the water only reached 72 degrees Celsius. Fans don't grow or shrink with water cooling. In an air cooler, the fans frequently changed speed. Water cooling has a smoother fan ramp. Either from almost silent to barely noticeable. ICUE software is integrated with all other Corsair products. Disadvantages: LEDs are good at first, but…

The heatsink has the fewest fin defects of any 4 AIO coolers I've had. I haven't had any problems preparing for the installation. Drink milk, stay away from soy, and you should be able to easily install fans on your radiator. I will update this review as the install progresses and how it cools my 5800X once it arrives. I can't control anything connected to the command core even using a USB hub as a buffer between it and the motherboard. Every time iCue starts, the Commander core disconnects…

This will cool your CPU!

This is the first and only liquid cooler I've bought and it took me months to think about it because I'm old fashioned and never believed in adding liquid through technology. But over time I kept adding components that were making my computer very hot and very hot. So I needed a solution to keep it nice and cool. After tons of reviews from other people on the net, good reviews from them, I decided to buy it and I don't regret it one bit. Even my family loved the colors on this one. Corsair has…

Basically perfect AIO inside

The positive is simple. The fans work well and move air well through the heatsink. The fans are not audible at normal temperatures, but they get a little louder than expected at full speed. I've heard better, of course, but it's not the end of the world. This thing is tied to the Ryzen 5900X, which is designed to push its limits. The H115i does its job well and keeps you cool. For the most part, Corsair came up with a great design for this all-in-one. Since it's designed to work with their fan…

Multiple Issues - Computers and Accessories

I have owned this product since March 7th, 2021. The software does not seem to respond quickly enough to rising temperatures and the pump does not flush mount easily. Before that I had a Corsair H110 which I really liked and ran like a champ for about 5 years before the pump broke. It was a great product. I now have a 5950x and an Asus Dark Hero paired with a 360mm Capellix. This motherboard allows me to use the hybrid overclocking mode which dynamically switches from overclocking to…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Doubt

There are a number of issues and frustrations associated with using this cooler with a Z390e gaming motherboard (and possibly others ROG Strix motherboards). If you try to POST after the installation, you will get a "CPU_FAN" error, which prevents the PC from starting Windows. This is because the dirty 3-pin pump connector on the motherboard is NOT WORKING. Due to a compatibility issue, Mobo does not recognize the connection to an AIO pump, no matter where you plug it in (whether on the…

Internal Pros and Cons

ProductCorsair iCUE H115i 280mm Elite CapellixCPU Specs: Intel i7 4790K 4.0GHz/4.4GHz Boost. (removed. Has mx5 between die and heatspreader) Mobo: z97x-ud5h-bk Replaced my 6-7 year old AIO cooler with this one. Obviously they deteriorate and work less efficiently after about 5 years. Low. Workload test: Prime95 + avx2 + smallfft instructions. Note. I still have to limit the power to 105W to avoid instantaneous high power consumption causing my machine to shut down. Thus, during workload…
