Multiple Issues - Computers and Accessories

I have owned this product since March 7th, 2021. The software does not seem to respond quickly enough to rising temperatures and the pump does not flush mount easily. Before that I had a Corsair H110 which I really liked and ran like a champ for about 5 years before the pump broke. It was a great product. I now have a 5950x and an Asus Dark Hero paired with a 360mm Capellix. This motherboard allows me to use the hybrid overclocking mode which dynamically switches from overclocking to overclocking all cores when needed, which is why the Dark Hero is such a desirable motherboard and it's the only board with this feature, maybe it's not anymore, me me I am not sure. However, it heats up very quickly under load. The pump looks good and runs quietly. These are professionals. For example, when I run Cinebench, the temperature quickly approaches 70C and falls with all but the most extreme fan curves, and when I look at the fan speeds in i-cue, they don't increase with temperature. They only accelerate from 55-60°C (idle 37-40°C), then it is too late and they can no longer catch up. Also, it looks like the pump can't make good contact with the processor. I've tried reinstalling and reapplying the paste a few times with little to no negative improvement. The temperature of the liquid practically does not rise above 30°C. The heatsink certainly works, but the way it attaches to the CPU is very imperfect on the AM4 due to this thumbscrew attachment method. Overall I'm not very impressed with the cooling. I suspect this might be my extreme setup, but I think it would be better if I could connect it to my motherboard connectors instead of the USB/SATA connectors and if the mounting solution was more secure. Also, the fact that Corsair released their A500 with a cold plate has the worst touch of any air cooler in this range and is one of the worst features that really makes me question the cold plate of this unit. A500 has been extensively tested online, just google "a500 cold plate" if you don't understand what I'm talking about. I have not found this block tested in this way. So.
