Bought with the intention of removing loose strands of hair from the carpet so they don't clog the vacuum cleaner. But I didn't want to buy small pet hair brushes and get on my knees to comb the floor. I have long hair, over 12 inches long, and it goes everywhere. The carpet in our apartment has a vertical wave structure, so I found it much easier to pick up the hairs with a brush head and comb them in the same vertical direction as the wave structure.
