My old Williamson Thermoflo AC Split unit was so weak it would only work about 2 feet from the wall unit. After numerous battery changes the problem persisted and the manufacturer said there was no replacement available so I tried this remote. WOW. In less than 5 minutes it was up and running and the removal problem was solved. It performs all the functions of the original device. The quick setup function worked well as my brand was not in the code list. Don't worry, it was scanned and found in minutes. So the battle of the thermostats can now continue without distance restrictions (I'm hot, I'm cold, etc., etc.). And also at night with backlight/flashlight function. :-) Easy way to change the display from C to F on the remote control, with AC on, remote control shows temperature C, press and hold OK until temperature F shows, about 3 seconds. For example, when changing the battery, the device code is saved, but the temperature is displayed as C, so you have to press OK to return to F. And of course set the time.
