I'm so glad I bought them. You are perfect. The lids have a rubber ring/gasket at the bottom to keep things sealed, the grommets fit perfectly and they even include four extra grommets. I am very happy with the purchase. I am currently fermenting four containers with these lids and airlocks and they work great. You could do it yourself a bit cheaper, but you have to find everything and do the work. I don't even know where to find seals under the lid. Whatever they use to poke holes in their lids, they're perfect. In itself, this is difficult to accomplish with a clean drill. I think that's a very fair price for what you get. Edit: I also now have the BPA-free plastic lid version and they are just as good as the stainless steel lids. i love both Another difference I noticed between the two sets is the different sockets. The version with a plastic cover has a connector that can be used to plug the hole if necessary.
