We live in Florida and are ready to take our kids snorkeling so we're starting to collect snorkel gear. These fins seemed like a good price so we decided to give them a try. It's a thick, durable material that offers excellent water resistance. This makes them a bit heavier than the ones I've had in the past, but that's not a problem for me. The small sock that comes with them is good, although not very high on the heel. I need to make sure the adjustable strap is tight enough so it doesn't slip off and rub against my heel. I ordered a large size and noticed that the size at the bottom of the fin differed from the one advertised. So be careful when choosing a size. I've included a size image at the bottom of the large one for reference. Also, the size on the bottom of the fin is men's size. Add about 1.5 to size for women. For example I wear women 10/men 8.5-9. I have more room in these fins as 8.5 is the lower size limit. It also fits my husband who wears a men's size 11.
