Both quality and design fall a little. For example, I believe the shelf piece should be flipped so the hooks are closest to the wall/face down and not sticking out. It also makes the edge deeper, giving you more room to place things on it. The only problem is that the side I attached to the wall didn't have holes in the back to hang it with nails, so I had to nail it to the wall and punch holes in it. The included velcro straps don't work at all and the other two pieces fell off a couple of times before I gave up and put nails in for them too. Every time they fell off and every time I hit them with a hammer to drive in a nail, a dent was left in the wood due to the softness of the wood. That being said, it worked in the end, although it's a bit shabby, it's functional, inexpensive, and aesthetically pleasing, which is exactly what I was looking for.
