A metal thread runs through it, giving it a lurid look.

This tablecloth has a metallic thread which makes it very tasteless so I sent it back. I'm at a loss as to why a perfectly fine tablecloth was ruined by the addition of this rather gaudy decoration to the design. You can't really see it in the photos, but you will definitely see it when you receive it.
