More equipment is needed. Zippers and Test Fit

This product serves its intended purpose as a bracket/holder for a front license plate that snaps onto the winch idler. I bought it for my Warn Evo VR10 installed on my Jeep Wrangler JKU and it looks ok. Here are a few things to know so you don't get frustrated with your under $20 purchase: 1. The license plate won't sit flush because the clamp bolts/nuts are sticking out. Loosen them and turn the screw so that you slide it through the other side and reinstall the nut. This way the plate will fit the flat head of the bolt rather than the nut and will fit more evenly on the mounting plate. (see image) 2. Before re-tightening the clamp bolts you must attach them to the winch pulleys to ensure the clamps are positioned correctly. If you do not do this before securing the license plate with the screws and they are not positioned to snap onto each roller, you will need to remove the license plate again to adjust the spacing between the clips.3. The mounting holes for the plate are not positioned correctly for US license plates so you will need 4 bolts, nuts and washers to install them in the holes on the inside of the built in mounting points (OR you will need to drill holes through your license plate if existing gear is installed) . (see picture)4. (Optional) If you don't believe in humanity and are afraid that someone will steal your license plate from your car because this thing just snaps onto rollers and can be pulled by any passer-by, you can use 4 more washers and 2 fasteners - zippers to prevent theft to prevent. If you are replacing the clamp screws on the other side of the plate in step 2, simply insert another washer at the junction between the back of the clamp and the plate. This allows room for the strap to slide between the pinch bolts, which can then be tightened around the front idler pulley. Do this for both clips/front rolls so each side is held by the zipper. It's not an anti-theft guarantee, but they should advocate for it. (See photos) (It's not ideal as you have to cut the zips around the rollers every time you have to use a winch to remove the license plate holder, but a huge pack of zips is cheaper and less of a hassle than replacing yours license plate and this product if it's stolen.) There is another model that attaches to the pulleys AND has a top that bolts to the top of your idlers so the plate lifts up when you need a winch. In theory this is better at deterring theft since it is bolted on, but if your idlers have pins you will need to replace them with bolts. I didn't choose to do this because I want to easily remove the mount from my jeep when driving off-road or it will just get ripped/damaged anyway, and cutting zips is faster than unscrewing.
