I have been using vacuum bags for over 20 years, always with Food Savers. I've used Foodsaver, Eurobib, Ziploc, and many other no-name brands because, like many others, I'm not a fan of paying as much as Foodsaver or Eurobib are charging. I prefer pre-sealed bags to rolls simply because of the time and because I have to run my seal twice just to make a bag. I find these Weston bags to be of the same quality as Food Saver and Eurobib and much better than Ziploc. I made 50lb country sausage this weekend and I checked every bag after each sealing and only one had to be resealed, I had a slight crease in the bag. I was so impressed with this that I ordered 2 more packets in different sizes to use for my next 1/2 beef and processing after the upcoming venison season. Priced at $100, they were $11 cheaper than Eurobib. for the size I bought. I will be reorganizing the freezer in the coming weeks and if I find that any of the packaging is no longer sealed I will update this post.
