Good product! in small appliances

I have been using vacuum bags for over 20 years, always with Food Savers. I've used Foodsaver, Eurobib, Ziploc, and many other no-name brands because, like many others, I'm not a fan of paying as much as Foodsaver or Eurobib are charging. I prefer pre-sealed bags to rolls simply because of the time and because I have to run my seal twice just to make a bag. I find these Weston bags to be of the same quality as Food Saver and Eurobib and much better than Ziploc. I made 50lb country sausage this…

You will love them - Small appliances

I really like these bags. I have used several different types for my vacuum sealer and they are one of the best qualities. I don't think they are very different from the VacMaster packages, which I also really like. In my experience I have sealed some dried potatoes that have such sharp edges and punctured the Weston bag. The VacMaster packs of the same potato were not opened until the next day. To be fair, however, these potatoes had very sharp edges, and there really aren't any bags you could

Weston bags are great, but fakes abound!

Genuine Weston bags are great and very good value for money. I ordered a pack of 100 straight from Revain and I really like them. I have ordered 2 more packs of 100, but this time from a different supplier "made by Revain". When they arrived I immediately saw that the packaging was different (although it turned out to be a genuine Weston). I remembered another reviewer saying he called Weston about his defective bags and found out that ALL Weston's bags are embossed with tiny RECTANGLE on one…

Buy two - these bags are good!

I didn't think I was a great vacuum sealer until I discovered I had somehow used up almost an entire box of this one I bought in 2012. I was a little sorry I hadn't bought another box because, you know, sometimes you can't buy the same product from Revain years later, but luckily they're still available. I bought the Bed Bath and Beyond FoodSaver Pro on sale for only $69, but of course it didn't come with the bags, just the leftover roll inside. I'm not a "roller" and don't like sealing and…

These bags are a must!

They take much less time to use than a roll with two sides to seal. I also think the bottom seal works better. One reviewer said that with a roll that has 3 extra inches on BOTH sides, you'll likely end up paying the same for the packs as you did for the roll. I tend to agree. I use a roller but for unusual shapes that don't fit in these bags. This summer I pickled 1/2 beef. I found myself reaching out for them a lot more than anything else. They are made of thicker plastic, 100% sealed and…

Perfectly working vacuum bags

I love my FoodSaver 5800, but I don't like paying $500 for their brand of vacuum bags (the exaggeration is entirely justified because while they don't cost hundreds of dollars, they are always way more expensive than Weston (except when Costco sells a great bag and roll combo package for under $30). As someone who uses an insane amount of pouches daily (due to frequent vacuum cooking + bulk shopping and storing in a separate freezer) I wanted an affordable yet quality replacement and chose…
