These 16mm (or 5/8) 12 point sockets have a good swivel permanently attached to a short and long 3/8 extension, so it won't work It won't come out of the socket if it's deep in your engine. One of my favorite features is the magnet, which works much better than the rubber inserts I used previously and holds the connector in place when removed from the motor. Also allows for easy fitting of a new spark plug and easy loosening once you have tightened it. Not exactly sure why these are 12 point spark plugs, maybe there are 12 point spark plugs but of course they work great with 6 point spark plugs. The angle is just great enough for me to easily remove the plugs, which used to take much longer as I had to use multiple outlets and extension cords to unclip and then remove the plugs. I mainly work on turbo Subaru's that have the plugs on the sides of the engine and barely have enough room to remove them from smaller cars. The quality is good, no complaints. Obviously you will never use an impact wrench or other high torque tool with spark plugs, so I don't see how that could break. Because magnets are used, the rubber doesn't age or crack, and I like that they're a bit more matte, which makes them easier to find in my toolbox compared to my polished extensions and attachments. All in all a good product and very useful in some cars and I can change a set of 4 plugs in an EJ20 or EJ25 in 20 minutes whereas (to my shame) it took me almost an hour on the first start.
