Once I found this dye, I have never used any other brand. The plum black is a perfect deep deep purple black and covers grays perfectly. (I've never used any other color so I can only vouch for plum black.) I also use it to tint my brows.1:1 ratio is easy mixing with 30 developer.As you go through shampoos you may run with color, so use dark towels, but hair stays dark. I needed a blue that would actually cover my expanding white roots. Arctic fox, manic panic and overtone all would not cover my white hair unless I bleached it. I was hoping for a dye that wouldn't require bleaching and found it in Age Beautiful!I use dark Blue (wish they had a lighter blue) and love the coverage and the slow fade. Only complaint is it runs $2 cheaper at Sally's Beauty Supply than on Revain.

So i do have a problem always dying my own hair and it'd always get so dry but this product i used made my hair feel different in a good way. i wa expecting some hair to brittle off but this is just it! possibly the brand but 10/10 would definitely buy again after i grow out my hair some more!

Used this product with age beautiful developer as directed. My haor is 60 to 70 % gray so no bleaching was required. I bought Dark Blue, the colir came out closer to black with a blue overtone. I dont have grey hair all over but the hair framing my face is almost totally white. This is the first hair dye that covers the gray, and while it is a little bit darker than other colors, I really like the darker tone. My hair dresser loved my strawberry blonde color mix (1 tube 9g, 1/4 tube 9rc).

When I first used it, I was very happy. Then over the course of a few weeks and noticed my hairstylist break and fall off. The only product that I use in my hair was this product. If you want to save your hair, don’t use this product.

Absolutely love this toner! It tones down the yellow in my hair and blends my roots so I don't need to touch them up as often.

I have been having trouble covering my grey (I’m probably 50-60% grey on top & sides) This has been the best I have used so far! And it didn’t stain my skin! I used 8A & it’s perfect- no gold hues and no purple/grey effect. I just do my roots so this tube will last me almost 3 months.

The reason why I gave it 4 starts, is because the color was too dark. I wanted a nice medium brown and the results came out to be a dark brown. You need to order a higher shade of color. The next one I’m going to order is a medium blond.

First time using the cream. Liquid is better but this was the only choice in my color. I think the 2 to 1 should be equal amounts. Result was a bit too light and did not last long. I will try 1 to 1 next time. Advantage to cream is no gagging ammonia odor

I bought this out of desperation as I was not able to get to my salon for a couple of months. DON’T USE THIS! My hair is now coming out in clumps and my roots are showing in 2 weeks! My ends also look frizzle fried even after a recent trim! I had purchased a medium brown shade and my roots came out YELLOW. This stuff is awful- for the love of your hair, don’t do it!

This is a nice product, and one bottle will last for two hair colors (my hair is just above my shoulders), but the second and third times I ordered it no activating agent was sent.

I purchased 5AA, wanted to tone down the brass and go a bit darker. After reading reviews I bought an addition color tube of 6AA and mixed half 5AA and half 6AA to lighten up the color. I’m glad I did the ash browns are very dark so my result was a dark brown; I’m happy with the results. I mixed with the 20 developer and left the dye in for 45 - 50 minutes since I’m about 60% gray. If you're looking for a lighter strawberry blonde than the 9rc alone (like me), I mixed 2oz (1 tube) of age beautiful Hlg (high lift golden), with 1oz (half tube) of 9rc light strawberry blonde and 5oz of 30 volume developer (for more lift but less damaging than 40) zotos/age beautiful doesn't make one so I used clairol.
