I bought one for each of my kids rooms and they really help reduce humidity and improve air quality. We live in the Pacific Northwest and with the bedroom doors closed during the day to study and at night to sleep, we lacked airflow. My son's wall has started to mold due to excess moisture from his breath! After installing it (and cleaning the wall) we had no more problems. My daughter is concerned about the noise level, so she keeps hers running on a timer throughout the day. My son runs day and night. Both initially had trouble emptying the water tank but my son figured out how to do it successfully and showed it to his daughter. There are instructions but they are not very clear. I hope that I can continue to buy the necessary filters for this model in the years to come.
