Pros: 1 Quiet. In fact, it is much quieter than other vacuum cleaners. 2. Works well on hardwoods and tiles. 3. Generally sufficient for very low pile rugs. 4. Easy to clean waste bin. 5. Compact enough for storage, won't spread around the closet. 6. Metal rod, 7. Retractable cable. Cons: 1. Small bin, needs to be emptied frequently. 2. The plastic of the bin seems brittle, I'm not sure how strong it will be. 3. Hooks to attach the container are tiny and difficult to align. 4. No carpet beater. The "Carpet" setting simply extends the brushes in front of the floorhead, allowing dog hair or debris to be brushed off the carpet, hopefully enough suction to grab them and pull the wand up. Otherwise a ball of hair will end up hanging on the floor brush. All in all, it works like a vacuum for a bedroom with mostly wood floors and a rug for me. From time to time I use a large vacuum cleaner to give the carpet a thorough cleaning. Let's see how it holds up.
