This is a good value for money product. It has kept my 10 year old goldfish alive between tank cleaning and using tap water to clean and refill a 55 gallon tank. After cleaning and refilling, I added the recommended milliliters of this product to remove chlorine from the water. This helped keep my fish active. If you don't add this, you'll see the goldfish sink to the bottom of the tank, become lethargic, and eventually die. You don't want that to happen. Before putting your fish in the aquarium, be sure to treat your aquarium with this product and then release your fish. Bottom Line: API TAP Water Conditioner instantly neutralizes chlorine, chloramines, and other chemicals to make tap water safe for fish in your tank. Freshwater aquariums. Good product at a good price. Gets five stars!
